Hutter Named Acting Director of Communications
for the National Endowment for the Arts

Bolz Center alumna Victoria Hutter has been named acting director of communications for the National Endowment for the Arts, the federal agency dedicated to supporting the arts. Prior to her appointment, Hutter served as a communications specialist with the agency since 1999, coordinating communications activities, and supporting the travel and information activities of its chair.

In her new position, she will oversee all communications strategy and implementation for the entire agency, and work with the leadership team on major endowment initiatives. She began her new appointment in October 2002.

The National Endowment for the Arts serves a national mission to enrich "our Nation and its diverse cultural heritage by supporting works of artistic excellence, advancing learning in the arts, and strengthening the arts in communities throughout the country."
