9:30 am	Keynote/Q&A: The Myth of the Passive Audience Lynne Conner, University of Pittsburgh What if the passive, quiet, observing audience is the exception, not the rule? A theater professor and organizational consultant suggests that the history of audience behavior paints a rather different picture of our future.
10:30 am	Group exercise: Rewriting the audience contract What do arts organizations expect from audiences, and what do audiences expect from the arts experience? Are these expectations changing, and if so, what's an arts manager to do?
