The extended alumni family of the Bolz Center mourns the loss of our friend and colleague Jim Dusso, who passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, after a bout with cancer.

Jim was a powerful and positive force in the lives of many of us, and in the life of the Bolz Center for Arts Administration. He was generous with his time, his attention, his warm humor, and his keen professional insights on arts and cultural leadership. As a past member of the Bolz Center's alumni advisory board, he continually encouraged us to build a better program, make stronger connections, and steward the extraordinary opportunities our mission provided. His voice and his presence will be missed.

Jim's obituary is available on the Star Tribune web site. Memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 22, in the Musser Cortile, Landmark Center, 75 W. 5th Street, St. Paul, MN at 3:00 pm.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers or memorials, you celebrate Jim's life and work through a gift to your favorite arts organization, center, school, or community arts event.
