Alumni Profiles:
Victoria Hutter

Victoria HutterVictoria Hutter helps provide the public voice for one of the largest single funders of the nonprofit arts sector in the United States. Through various media outlets and events, Victoria connects the National Endowment for the Arts to organizations, artists, and the public.

Since 1965, the National Endowment for the Arts has awarded more than 120,000 grants to groups or individuals in all 50 states and the six U.S. jurisdictions. Through grants, communications, and research, the NEA provides national recognition and support to significant projects of artistic excellence, seeking to preserve and enhance America's diverse cultural heritage.

In 2002, the NEA needed an interim director for their communications office and looked to Victoria. Having danced professionally in her previous career and still being quick on her feet, Victoria was able to step in without losing a beat.
